Special Workshops

I lead individualized workshops on leadership and communication.  A leadership team will want to work on a particular aspect of their ministry and relationship.  Usually the elders and preachers are involved in several hours of work aimed at a particular objective.  Often, the deacons are included as well.

Some of the areas of improvement that I have been asked to facilitate:

  • Delegation
  • Communication:  developing better relationships in the leadership team
  • Shepherds shepherding shepherds
  • Integrating new members of a leadership team (How will new elders and previous elders work well together?  How can the elders and new preacher get off to a good start?)

In these workshops, we set structure for good communication and work on the specific areas that need addressing.  Since I am an outside party and have more than four decades experience, I don’t mind asking the questions that others are afraid to ask or haven’t thought of asking.

I bring my waste basket-recycling bin to each workshop.  If it isn’t worth taking home, you can throw it away.  I encourage each participant to find one “mustard seed” that will make a difference in one’s relationship with God and with others.
